NHMRC requires open access deposit of publications

NHMRC recently announced a change to its policy on dissemination of research findings. Coming into effect in July 2012 NHMRC will require any publications arising from an NHMRC supported research project to be deposited into an open access institutional repository within a twelve month period from the date of publication. This is a strengthening of the previous policy which encouraged, but did not require, deposit in open access repositories.

Adelaide Research & Scholarship (AR&S) is the University of Adelaide's institutional digital repository.

AR&S aims to collect together into one place the research and scholarship of members of the University community. It provides a platform for the collection, organisation, access and preservation of scholarly information in digital formats, as well as digital management of information in physical formats.
