Using Oxford University Press

The library provides access to over 300 ebooks (research monographs) via Oxford Scholarship Online, Oxford Handbooks Online, Oxford Medicine Online, Oxford Reference Online.

Reading:

  • You can read online by clicking the relevant section or chapter heading.

Searching:

  • You can search across the platform using the search function at the top right of the page.
  • Oxford Reference Online will also allow you to search within the current work (search box at left of page.

Downloading and printing:

  • You can print content by article unit. Simply click on the Print icon in the right-hand navigation area. A preview window will appear with the correctly formatted pages, minus the site navigation components.

  • You can print or save individual articles to PDF. To generate a PDF of an individual article, simply click on the Full Article PDF icon on the right-hand menu of the full text article page. You can then save or print the PDF as required. Please note that Copyright restrictions apply. (Adapted from site FAQ)

Highlighting, annotating, etc.

  • This can be done using the "Comment" toolbar on your saved PDFs.
