Library Services for University Senior College: Borrowing

Borrowing by students

USC students can borrow books from the Barr Smith Library's main collection, the high-use three hour reserve collection and DVDs. You can also borrow from the other University of Adelaide Libraries - Music Library, Law Library, Waite Library, Roseworthy Campus Library.

You can borrow up to 30 books at a time. The usual loan period is 4 weeks with up to 4 (automatic) renewals if no-one requests the book. You will be asked to return an item earlier than its due date if someone else requests it.

You can check your library record or check what you have out on loan through My Library. Login using the library barcode as the username and surname/family name as the password.

You may request an item on loan or from another University Campus Library or from the Joint Library Store.

Please remember that if you lose or damage an item you will have to pay for the replacement cost.

Borrowing by staff

Library membership for College staff is provided at the discretion of the University Senior College. Eligible staff have the same membership as University of Adelaide Staff.
