How do I find articles?

You can:

Search Library search and limit to Articles.

OR Search a Database

If you're not finding much, you're finding too much, you need to do a really thorough search, or you're after specific types of information you'll need to use a database. See the database recommendations on this page.

Databases often require structured searches, using AND / OR / NOT operators (also known as Boolean searching). For an overview of this, visit the Boolean Searching and More tutorial.

What is a Database?

A database is a searchable collection of references to journal articles (but may also include conference proceedings, newspaper articles...).

Some databases contain the full-text of journal articles, while others let you click through to the full text

Each database has its own subject strengths. You'll need to make sure you're searching the right databases to find articles on your topic.
