Library Search Guide: Searches & Alerts

A guide to assist users with using the Library Search interface.

Saving searches

Once you have signed in, you can save your current search by scrolling to the bottom left corner of the screen and clicking the Save query link.

You will then be prompted to give your query a name, and whether you wish to also receive an email alert when new items are added to Library Search which meet your criteria.

Using saved searches

You can access your saved and session queries by clicking either the e-Shelf or My Library link in the top right corner of the screen and then clicking the Queries tab.

By clicking on a Query name  within the Saved queries & alerts box you can re-run the search. 

Creating alerts

You can also create or cancel an email alert by clicking Update, and then selecting Save & alert.
