Advanced database searching

The Library provides a range of self-guided courses designed to develop and enhance your database searching skills.  They provide guidance and directions, using visual and interactive content, for searching databases relevant to each of the Health disciplines.  There is a separate course for Allied Health, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Psychology and Public Health.

Each database indexes unique content, so to do a comprehensive search of the evidence, it is recommended that you use more than one database.
