Search alerts are an efficient way of receiving notifications of new publications added to databases and journals that match your search criteria. The following list is a selection of major services:
Search alerts which email you new results for your favourite query.
Publication alerts, which notify you when a new issue is available.
Perform your search then select Save search/Alert
A search alert can be created from the Search history box, Search results page, Source information page or My settings page.
Register and sign in to create a search alert.
Save selected records as a search history, create an e-mail alert, and create an RSS feed.
Register and sign in to save your results as a search history.
Do a search on your topic of interest, then on the 1st page of results, select the envelope "Create alert" icon in the side bar. GS will email you newly published papers that match your search criteria.
