Since there is no one citation style and there are a number of ways to cite Chinese and Japanese sources, the examples in this guide do not represent the only method of citing. The most important thing to remember is to be consistent. We strongly recommend that you consult with your professors or lecturers as to which style is acceptable for your assignments and papers.
