Screening your search results

Once you have retrieved results through your comprehensive searching, you need to screen them. Screening your search results is the process in which you determine whether each individual article meets your inclusion criteria or not. Having multiple reviewers to screen results (yourself and someone else from your team) reduces bias. Systematic Review Management software that is available via the University Library such as Covidence and JBI's SUMARI have features that will make this process easier:

Locating full text of your citations

At this stage it is likely you will have a list of citations, for which you will now need to read the full text article or resource. Each database and information source provides different options for accessing full text of articles.
