Adobe Digital Editions

Adobe Digital Editions is an eBook reader used for obtaining, managing and reading eBooks, digital newspapers and other digital publications.

University of Adelaide staff using University-owned computers can now install the Adobe Digital Editions app through the Software Center.
The Software Center can be accessed through the Start menu on your device, and selecting the Software Center icon (or you can search your device for the Software Center).

Select the Adobe Digital Editions app from in the Software Center and click on Install.

Personal devices

Students and staff using personal computers can download and install the Adobe Digital Editions app through the Adobe website (note: if you are a student you cannot download or access Adobe Digital Editions on the University computers, as it is designed for personal use only).

Note: It is best to create this under a personal email, not your University email, so you can retain access to your account in the future.

  • PocketBook reader (free to download)
  • Bluefire reader (payment required to download)
