Established under the Northern Territory Aboriginal Sacred Sites Act, the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority is responsible for overseeing the protection of Aboriginal sacred sites on land and sea across the whole of Australia’s Northern Territory.

Indigenous Protected Areas (IPAs) are areas of land and sea managed by Indigenous groups as protected areas for biodiversity conservation through voluntary agreements with the Australian Government.

The CLC represents Aboriginal people in Central Australia and supports them to manage their land, make the most of the opportunities it offers and promote their rights. Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa (KJ) is a Martu organisation. Martu lands have significant conservation values globally, nationally and locally and this website includes the cultural, country and social aspects.
