CAUL OER Collective
A collection of open textbooks published by Australian and New Zealand universities as part of the Open Educational Resources Collective, hosted by the Council of Australian University Librarians (CAUL).
Pressbooks Directory
Pressbooks is an online publishing platform used by universities and individuals around the world. The directory lists public works on the PressbooksEDU networks. Various licenses.

Open Textbook Library
Collection of open textbooks which are in use or affiliated with a higher education institution, scholarly society, or professional organisation. Many include reviews from faculty. Various licenses.
DOAB
Directory of Open Access books provides thousands of academic peer-reviewed books from nearly four hundred publishers

Search for quality open textbooks offered in a variety of digital formats. Search by subject and download them to your computer.
Milne Open Textbooks
Catalog of open textbooks authored and peer-reviewed by faculty from the State University of New York. Previously called Open SUNY Textbooks. Various licenses.
MIT OpenCourseWare - Online Textbooks
Textbooks used in MIT's courses. Includes business, engineering, health, medicine, mathematics and science.
Saylor Academy Open Textbooks
Collection of textbooks covering a wide range of subjects including accounting, social sciences, and management. CC BY-NC-SA (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike) license.

Australian University Presses

While not necessarily textbooks, the following local presses publish open access books which you may find useful particularly if you are looking for Australian content. Please note that while many of these presses use open licenses they may not allow the books to the revised or remixed.

ANU Press
Large collection of books published by Australian National University Press. Books published before 2018 are free to read but not openly licensed. CC BY-NC-ND (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives) license from 2018.
