Guidance on using EndNote software at the University of Adelaide

EndNote Click

EndNote Click (formerly known as Kopernio) is a free browser extension that allows you to access full-text journal articles through the University of Adelaide's institutional subscriptions and freely available open access content. It is easy to use and saves you time as it provides one click PDF access, without having to navigate through logins and redirects.

You can add the EndNote Click extension to your browser (Firefox, Chrome and Edge) through the Tools menu in EndNote Desktop by clicking on Install EndNote Click Browser Extension. Alternatively you can go to the EndNote Click website:

When you access EndNote Click you will be prompted to create an account - please note, this is separate from your EndNote Online account. When you've registered, you will be given the option to choose your reference manager - selecting EndNote will give you the option to export references to EndNote desktop.

EndNote Click can help you access full-text article PDFs on 20,000 academic platforms. You will be able to use EndNote Click with a number of databases and online resources provided by the University Library, including PubMed, Web of Science and Google Scholar. The EndNote Click extension follows your browser, wherever you are, so you can use it off-campus via Open Athens (you'll need to login with your University credentials the first time you use EndNote Click remotely).

Click on the following links to access guides to exporting references to EndNote Desktop, and capturing full-text PDF articles from PubMed and Google Scholar using EndNote Click.
